Caribbean Cruise Part 4 - Second Port - San Juan, Puerto Rico
December 8th, we docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 9:30am to 5:30pm. We walked around town, went to a fort where there were a number of Iguanas sun tanning, had lunch at this cute little local restaurant facing the ocean. It was funny to watch the pigeons roaming around the second floor where we were eating, picking up what humans left behind. They didn't have a care in the world...what a life. The town was so cool, with single lane roads that were mainly cobblestone that are a beautiful blue colour. It had rained a couple of times, but the clouds left just as quickly as they came in.
We didn't hit a beach anywhere, so we purchased a little bottle of sand and other trinkets then headed back to the ship. Back on board we were greeted by this cute little towel animal our room attendant Pagi had made for us ... he found the sunglasses that were forgotten and put them on the towel dogs face...so cute. We took a nap, went had dinner in the Sapphire Dining Room then went to watch another show in the Palace Theater...this time a comedian...he was very good.
Today was also our ten-year anniversary!!! What a wonderful way to celebrate such a milestone! I am super lucky and grateful!!!
All in all, it was another amazing day!!
