Caribbean Cruise Part 1 ... Boarding

We flew out of Montreal, Quebec, December 4th to Miami, Florida on Air Canada Rouge. It was fun to go from the edge of winter to full on summer in just a matter of a couple of hours, with green leaves still on all the trees and bright happy flowers everywhere. We stayed in room 314 at Embassy Suites by Hilton close to the Miami International Airport and Port Miami Cruise Terminal. The hotel was super neat and looked almost like a cruise ship on the inside.

Port Miami Cruise Terminal was an amazing sight to see, it was so large yet highly organized. The number of ships was extremely impressive and overwhelming, but there was no chance of getting lost and everything went very smoothly. We boarded the ship on December 5th and cruised all day December 6th arriving at our first destination on December 7th.

The ship was very impressive, so large but easily accessible for everyone. The rooms were a good size, the bathroom could have used a bit more space but all in all it was fine for what we needed. We had a beautiful view from our balcony in State Room 9562. A large comfy bed, clean space and everything we needed. We had a Room Attendant named Pagi who was a lovely young man from India who has been doing this work for 5 years now. He works on different ships so he can see more destinations...what a neat way to travel.

It was super fun when we first got to walking around the ship as it felt like a large floating hotel with a mall and all amenities that anyone could ask for. It was neat to have so many different people from all over the world working and vacationing on the ship.

There were tons of things to do on and off the ship and I will share photos of each day here in my blogs...each day receiving its own space. I tried my best to capture the amount of fun this trip brought, and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I got to enjoy the actual experience!!
